Olga Braun-Cangl

Cambridge Associates

Olga is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates, based in Munich. Olga joined Cambridge Associates in 2022 and focuses on building and management of Private Markets portfolios for institutional clients across Europe.

Before joining Cambridge Associates, Olga spent 14 years with AllianzGI, where she contributed to shaping AllianzGI Private Markets capabilities from different investment and advisory roles in Munich and New York offices. She managed and advised institutional clients in building of customized Private Markets Portfolios for European institutional clients. She served as a member of the investment committee and lead sourcing activities for Private Credit including co-investments and secondaries, Private Equity and Infrastructure. She also supported executive management, advising on potential strategic acquisition targets and M&A opportunities. Olga started her career in 2002. She was a portfolio manager and hedge fund analyst at Berenberg Bank and UniCredit.

Olga earned her Master of Science from the University of Munich in 2002 and is a certified EUREX Trader and a Hedge Funds Consultant (ebs). Voluntarily, she serves  the 100 Women in Finance board in Germany and Munich Student Investment Club e.V..

Volkmar Döricht

Volkmar Döricht is a leading expert in Strategic Visioning and Strategic Foresighting within the Corporate Technology department of Siemens AG. In this role, he is responsible for building the know-how on innovation strategy and the coordination of internal, national, and international projects. Furthermore, Volkmar regularly gives lectures on science and holds industry conferences; he is also involved in many international programs and organizations. Volkmar has a strong background in the areas of automotive, industry, software applications, e-business, and embedded systems.

Carsten Schmidt

Carsten Schmidt is an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in the automotive industry. He is skilled in negotiation, sales, international business, automotive engineering, and sales management. Carsten is a strong business development professional with a degree in Technical Business Administration focused on Marketing and Mechanical Engineering.

Lena Roth

Founder of MSIC

Lena founded MSIC e.V., together with Karoline, in 2022. Having studied Business and Finance at LMU in Munich and Columbia University in New York, she graduated from LMU with highest honors.

Lena previously interned at Citi in the Investment Banking division, as well as at Siemens and BMW, and worked at LMU’s chair for Finance and Banking.

Ella Liu

Citi

Ella is an Investment Banking Analyst in Citigroup’s Chicago office. In this role, she works in the Industrials group and provides analytical support on a variety of mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions.

Ella graduated with high distinction from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Analytics.

Philipp Luger

PwC

Philipp is currently employed at PwC's Financial Services Management Consulting, where he has worked with various global banks / insurance companies. In his department, he is acting as a point of contact for Fintechs, co-leading a Fintech strategy group.

Philipp graduated with distinction from Munich University of Applied Sciences (Bachelor Thesis: "Financial technology: opportunities and risks using the example of China with a special focus on the role of the state.") and is planning on completing an executive MBA program as soon as he meets the respective three-year full-time working experience requirement.
